Drawing from my background in engineering and mechanics, I bring expertise in fabricating, welding, soldering, and repairing various components, encompassing both mechanical and electrical aspects. This proficiency in electrical and electronic systems further complements my skills as a gimbal technician, enabling me to address a wide range of technical challenges. My expertise even extends into helicopter and vehicle rigging (including full gimbal power solutions), making me well suited for this role.

With hands-on experience in natural history shoots and broadcast operations, I bring a diverse range of practical knowledge to the table.

Having served as the lead drone & gimbal technician on projects like Disney's ‘Mulan’ (China Unit) and ‘Mount Everest High Altitude Aerials’ I have consistently demonstrated my skills with unwavering dedication.

I am dueled by a deep passion for the craft and a comprehensive understanding of gimbal optimisation. One of my notable areas of expertise lies in rigging and working on the Shotover F1 Rush, specifically on the L-39 jet aircraft, ensuring its secure and optimal performance in challenging aerial environments. I am well-versed in the intricacies of aircraft rigging (both helicopter and fixed wing) and possess a comprehensive understanding of the specific requirements and safety protocols involved.

As a well versed gimbal operator, I’ve honed the skills necessary in capturing smooth and dynamic footage. With hundreds of operating hours under my belt, I'm calm under pressure, and can produce any desired camera movements. 

I have a passion for natural history. This fuels my work as a gimbal operator, allowing me to bring my respect and understanding of particular subject matters. I strive to capture the beauty and intricacies of the natural world, showcasing its wonders through the lens. This passion drives me to chase visually stunning footage to forever inspire audiences.
